A truly rare creation from my studio — and one I’m especially proud to present.
While I don’t often work in bas-relief, this piece is a special exception: a sculpted portrait of the legendary Akhal-Teke stallion, Garadogan, originally created by Victoria Letnikova.

Fierce, elegant, and otherworldly — Garadogan is a dragon in a horse’s body.
This piece captures not just his form, but his fire.

The color palette is both clean and dramatic: jet black and glowing red. His coat is painted in rich, layered tones — with subtle shades of blue, violet, and deep crimson woven into the surface. Every muscle, every swirl of hair is brought to life through detailed brushwork and precise shading.

The background features genuine red metal leaf, offering a vivid, almost liquid shine.
Soft violet shadows add a touch of vintage mysticism, reminiscent of aged mirrors and old-world legends.
A layer of glossy varnish enhances the depth and luminosity, while the matte finish on the horse creates a striking visual and tactile contrast. The stallion’s eyes remain glossy, adding soul and intensity to his gaze.

This piece is compact enough to display easily, yet detailed enough to captivate. Whether placed on a wall or shelf, it’s a statement — bold, unique, and full of spirit.
