El Escudero, my latest creation and a tribute to the spirit of Iberian horses. This traditional-scale stallion is a unique collaboration between three artists: originally sculpted by the talented Tatiana Baneman, commissioned by Natalia Rosse, and finally brought to life through my vision and craftsmanship.
What makes him one of a kind? - New Ears: fully turned back, adding an unprecedented sense of dynamism. - I resculpted his tail into a tight, refined braid, while a few rebellious strands spill out for a natural finish. - I also resculpted his mane into a thick, elegant braid, carefully detailed and finished with a real red satin ribbon. The ribbon adds a touch of authenticity and charm, especially with its gentle curves in the forelock—a subtle feature I’m particularly proud of.
His coat - bay extreme rabicano. Using the Hair-by-Hair technique, I built his complex coat layer by layer, ensuring the finest details and subtle transitions for stunning realism. Hours upon hours were dedicated to perfecting his sides, creating depth, dimension, and the distinct texture of this rare color.
His face tells a story. From the intricate markings to the emotional depth in his eyes, El Escudero radiates life. He’s one of those models that photos simply can’t do justice—hold him in your hands, and you’ll see what I mean.
A champion waiting to shine. With his detailed coat and refined features, El Escudero is a serious contender for any show ring—whether in halter classes or performance setups. I can already envision him in a spectacular performance class, perhaps executing a traditional "dance" with a barrel or bull, complete with a luxurious Spanish tack set.
