Originally sculpted by the talented Mr. Anki (Campy-Flegray model, 1:18 scale) this piece has been customized with my own creative vision — featuring a brand-new, flowing tail and a classic body clip that adds sharp contrast and elegance to his look.
I chose a dramatic black tobiano coat for him, full of contrast and nuance. Clipped areas reveal soft pink undertones where white patches expose the skin, while darker parts shimmer with cool bluish hues. I’m particularly fond of this effect on real horses, and I’ve done my best to capture the same subtle complexity here.
The longer, natural coat was painted with equal attention: both the black and white areas carry layered shades that emphasize depth, movement, and a lifelike texture. From the intricate tail to the precisely detailed hooves and his dreamy blue eyes — every element was painted to harmonize perfectly. This boy turned out incredibly vivid and painterly in the truest sense of the word.
If you're looking for a horse with presence, soul, and painterly depth — this boy is calling your name.
