I’m really happy to finally share this piece with you.
This is Lajjina — a beautiful Arabian mare sculpted by Brigitte Eberl. There’s something about her that instantly pulled me in… something very much like a quiet Arabian night — deep, slightly mysterious, almost unreal.
Scale: Large Traditional (1:9)
Size: approx. 33 × 24 cm / 12,9 x 9,4 inches
(Including the base)
When she came into my hands, I allowed myself to gently reinterpret her.
I gave her a completely new mane and tail — sculpted from scratch to follow the natural flow of her movement. I wanted that feeling of air, of motion that doesn’t stop. And the tail… I think it became one of those details your eye keeps returning to. The way it curls, the way it leads you forward — you almost start following it without noticing.
For the color, I stayed with something that already feels very “me”.
She’s finished in an extreme rabicano black, with bold markings on her legs and face. And black, in this case, is anything but flat. Up close, it shifts — browns, wine tones, violets, even hints of blue, especially across the front of her body. It’s a dark coat, but full of depth… the kind that really opens up when you hold her in your hands.
I could say a lot more about her… but she’s already proven herself.
Lajjina made her debut at the Niederrhein Live Show (Germany), taking 1st in her breed subclass and Champion among resins — a very strong, confident start.
She has the kind of presence that holds in the ring and stays in the judges’ memory. Not a one-time win, but the kind of horse that builds a record. Her show career has opened with a truly stellar note — and I have no doubt she will grow into a serious competitor across future shows.
For those who show — you know exactly how rare that is. This is a real chance to add a future show star to your collection.
